As a fellow at the Center for Public Leadership at Harvard, he trained in the practice of Public Narrative, using the framework of self, us, and now to communicate values, build shared identity, and call others to action. Beto has spoken at more than 100 neighborhood associations and community events across San Antonio, on national stages with Forbes, the Aspen Institute, and The Atlantic, and at universities including Harvard, Stanford, and the University of Texas at Austin. He has also been invited by Fortune 500 companies to share his insights, and his international engagements include speaking at the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Glasgow.
